Farooq Olanrewaju

Farooq Olanrewaju is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Research Center in Robotics and Submarine Technologies (CIRTESU) where he investigates the development of efficient algorithms that use image data for cooperative robot arm manipulation in underwater environments. He is a second year Erasmus+ student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon - the second mobility of the Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics (MIR) Master. He has research and teaching experience and has executed numerous projects in various domains of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. He is a multi-award-winning scholar. 

He has a keen interest in pursuing a PhD in swarm intelligence, data-driven path planning and control of robots in constrained or complex environments, or related fields. He is currently open to recommendations and discussions.
